What ? It's STILL her birthday ????

Well, I guess that's what happens when you are a princess...you get to have your birthday allllll week ! Memaw and Pawpaw arrived today for more birthday surprises.

She wore one of her princess outfits from Grandma and Grandpa Wolfe all day today...thanks guys. We can't wait to get the pearls from Meme and Grandad and Memaw is taking her shopping tomorrow to pick out a special toy.

It's great to be 3 !! :)

I really don't know how it happened so fast, but it did....She's 3 today, my angel, my princess, my Peapye girl.  I'm such a lucky Mommy.....

She was REALLY into her birthday this year....sooooo excited ! She had a blast opening her gifts...was thrilled with her Princess birthday cake...and said to me and G. afterwards..."Mommy, DaDa..Thank YOU for my birthday !!"....awwwwwwww..I just love this girl !

2 peas in a PeaPye pod

These two are really close..maybe it's because he's closer to her age and plays with her more than bigger brother, but they are cute together.

She, when asked, still says her name is "Peapye K. D....." LOL....guess she will always be our "Peapye" :)

Tired...just got home from a ball game of D.'s...their first tournament game tonight of the weekend...they won 9-5 :) We have had a game every night this week so far. C.'s was on Monday and then D. has had a game Tues., Wed., tonight and every night up thru Sunday...whew !! He's doing great...Tuesday night he hit one alllll the way to the fence..came sooo close to going over. 3 for 3 on Tues.....and 3 for 3 last night with one hit being a huge clutch hit when we were down in the 5th and he got a double and hit in the tieing run...and pitched well too in a pressure situation. C-man had a great night on Monday as well...made about 4 outs and several hits. Baseball is in full swing at this house...and it's not just the boys !

Off to bed now....I'm going on a bus tomorrow with a bunch of 8 year olds to a Kangaroo farm up north of here....whoooooo...that should be fun, huh ? I'll keep ya posted :)

Hoppy Easter !!

A fun day was had by all...even though the temperature was not quite as perfect as yesterday, it was still fairly warm and sunny. The kids had fun hiding eggs several times and Miss K. really seemed to have a blast this year and realize what was going on. She ooohhhed and aaaahhhed over all the goodies in her basket and played outside aaaaalllllllll day long !!

Spring has definitely sprung here...the Bradford pears (my favorite, even though they really sttttiiiiiiink !!!) are in full bloom and the Cherry trees are right behind them. Ahhhhh, the cold weather is almost gone....I really hate winter ! I get the winter blues big time and could never be a Yankee !

The little princess lets Daddy steal a kiss...

.....and finally....all of the days activities got to her. I had gone upstairs to do something for a few minutes and when I came back down, this is what I found at the bottom of the stairs sound asleep ! LOL

Bumpin' in the 'Burbs, Ya'll !

OMG...this is the MOST hilarious thing I have seen in a very loooooong time !!!

If you live in the 'burbs.....especially around these parts, then you will love this ! Listen closely to all the words....this guy is hilarious ! He was actually part of a morning radio show in the ATL and does some comedy as well I think.

The only thing missing is something about ALTA tennis :)

Miss Grownie Pretty Princess

I continue to be amazed at how Miss K. evolves every day into this beautiful little girl. Some of the things she says now just really cracks us up !! Just this afternoon we were out in the backyard and G. was pitching some batting practice to C. man and C. hits a good shot and Miss K. says, "C. ,good shot...that was AMAZING !!" amazing ?? LOL...where did she hear that ???? :) Of course, she had to go put on one of the boy's batting helmets...backwards of course...and started hitting some balls off the tee and she was whacking some good ones ! All athletic one second and then back inside for some Pretty Princess time with one of her dresses on and dancing to some music on a movie.

Things she loves right now at this point in time:

1. Riding her scooter outside (a princess scooter of course)

2. Watching all her Cinderella DVD's and Barbie movies

3. Going to the baseball field

4. Playing non stop with her "princesses"...a set of 7 plastic Disney princesses that she takes with her EVERYWHERE, including bed each night (Thank You !! Kim or Theresa or whoever gave those to her for Christmas !!)

5. Her Cinderella sippy cups

6. The Good Night show on Sprout

7. Maccaroni and Cheese

8. Her Cinderella cell phone (thanks Meme, I think !)

9. Rice Krispies with milk...EVERY morning

10. Orange Juice

Have to Brag a little....

I know it seems that D-man doesn't get much blog love lately.....you know how hard it is to get pictures of teenagers these days, especially boys....but I just have to brag on him a bit. He has been doing so well in middle school...has made the Honor Roll his entire middle school career so far, and I think that's a real accomplishment considering how much homework he has had....Oh my goodness, some of the homework load has just been unreal !! It has given me a headache sometimes ! I can't believe that I will actually have a High Schooler next year...where has the time gone ?

But, I really am proud of him....he's a good kid too, and that is sooo important these days. Love you, D !!

Time Flies

I can't believe that Valentines Day is over and it's almost March ! Where, oh where does the time go ? The tulips and daffodils are starting to bloom around here and there are already buds on some of the trees. Meanwhile, the weeds in the grass are not the only weeds growing............my 3 are getting bigger and bigger all the time. Miss K. will be 3 in a couple of months....C-man is taller every day....and D...well, I just can't begin to keep up with his legs !

Miss K. is really into the "pretty clothes" and shoes, etc. She never passes up the opportunity to put on something resembling a princess, whether it's actually one of her princess dresses or even just a sweatshirt of her brother's just tied around her waist so she can pretend and swirl around. She's becoming more and more growny every day and more independent as well (that can be a good thing OR a bad thing :)

Whirlwind Month

WHEW ! I'm glad January is almost over ! It's my busy month as I'm working with AFLAC to get ready for their big yearly kick off meetings. I work for one of the Regions as their event planner/photographer and have several duties. I designed a logo and their theme for the 2008 year as well as planned the kick off meeting for their employees. That meeting was last Wed. and the big state kick off meeting and black tie event that we went to was this past Sat. nite. Everything went well and we also had a great time at the state party.

Got to have a fun "girl photographer night out" last night with a couple of my photographer buddies to watch a video and eat and chat. Didn't get home until after midnight....fun time !

More later...off to get some sleep, but will leave you with a new pic of my pretty girl :)
