We said goodbye to Mury the Elf on Christmas Eve....he went back with Santa to the North Pole to get ready for next Christmas. If we are lucky and very good he might return to us next year. We had a great time with him and he is now a member of the family. On Christmas Eve he sat atop a decorative tray of mine and Cman said goodbye before going off to bed, excited about Santa, but sad at the same time to see Mury leave:
Cman not only woke up Christmas morning to some great presents from Santa, but he had a very nice note from Mury and the kids also had small presents hidden under the tree that Mury had left for them. Cman had left Mury a Christmas ornament that he had made with his picture on it for Mury to take to remember him by. YOU WILL BE MISSED, MURY !!!!!!
Here's the rest of Mury's shenanagins on previous nights:
Sitting atop my clock....he had also gotten into my ribbon and hung strands of it off the clock :)....and on the Santa sitting at the base of the clock he had convinced Elmo to come take a ride on Santa's back :) :)
....and of course Miss K. had to get in on the camera action :)

The night before he showed up on top of my kitchen wreath :)
...and before that on top of the entertainment center amidst all my baskets :)
...and then he was way on top of my antique shutters in the living room :
..and then the funniest thing was when we found him on the floor in front of my china cabinet sitting on top of Grandma's cookies with crumbs everywhere and a note written on top of Grandma's note saying...."GRANDMA ROCKS !!!!".....we about killed him for this one !!! Luckily, he has such a small stomach that he couldn't eat many cookies, so that left plenty for us ! :)
Before that he was on top of my decorative mirror in the dining room....he looked kinda cute perched up there on top :)
...and then before then, he was found sitting on top of a decorative rabbit and he had taken some of Miss K.'s alphabet letters off the fridge and placed them down to spell out his name. Guess he couldn't find an "R".....LOL :) In the background is a picture and note that Cman had left for him :)
Muuuuuuuuuurrrrrrryyyy Christmas 2008 !!
